The LaSalle County Wild Hog Cook-off and County Fair has become one of the largest attractions in the community on the second weekend in March each year (from Thursday through Sunday) and draws chefs from near and far with the lure of prizes in various categories.
This year, our Theme is “Horray for Hoggywood.”
You can enjoy parades, sample foods, pursue crafts, and support your favorite candidate at the Queen’s, Little Mr & Miss, or Pet Parade Contests. You can cheer on youngsters at the Livestock Show or winners of the Food Show Contest.
Wild rides, thrills and spills are in store for those spectators Sunday afternoon, as it is known as the rowdiest ranch rodeo south of the Frio River, and this culminates the end of the LaSalle County Fair and Wild Hog Cook-Off.
